The Disciples of Galilee is compiled of men and women that are hungry for servitude. With the understanding of what God has done in our own lives, We believe that everyone deserves a second chance just as our Lord Jesus Christ has offered every single one of us. We are a people brought out of the pit, and since then we have been called to go out and reach the forgotten and those that are less fortunate in some of the most darkest places you can find throughout The Bronx. While reaching out to those in need we come across the drug addicted, the battered, the lonely, the orphan, the widow, the heartbroken and the hopeless. We believe we have been in the mountain but now there is much work to do in The Valley.

Our goal is to reach the hearts of those that feel forgotten, that feel that no one cares and bring them a glimpse of hope in a form a meal, clothing, a hug an most importantly a message with a great promise that will eventually grow to be a bright light in a dark place by sharing the Gospel that once penetrated our own hearts and created this ministry.

We are a people with lifted hands in total adoration onto our Lord. May our heavenly Father – God Almighty and our Lord Jesus Christ be glorified through all we do. May the Spirit of the Lord go before us and lead the way as we trust and have faith in his guidance for the days to come, We are the Galilians.

Now someone may argue, “Some people have faith, others have good deeds.” But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.”
James 2:18

As you can see despite COVID, the cold harsh winter nights and despite the loss of our beloved sister Yvonne Quiñones, the Disciples of Galilee continue with our mission to feed the hungry, reach the lost and expand God’s kingdom.
